Imagine being tortured for telling no lie
Imagine your home and your trees bulldozed and destroyed
Your factories and farmland being bombed from the sky
Imagine sonic bombs from F16′s in the night
Your children sobbing, frozen in fright
Imagine your people when sick and in pain
Turned away from hospital, no medicines remain
Imagine going fishing and facing live fire
Hopes and aspirations that never transpire
Imagine living on handouts from NGOs all the time
Imagine clean drinking water that you’re being denied
Imagine a new nation created on your land
By foreign invaders, from where your troubles began
