Where are you now, oh Palestinian child

Your eyes are so black from the tears that you cry
Your brother’s in jail
Your father has died

Their only crime was trying to survive

Your father was shot with an American made gun

Fired by an IOF soldier who did it for fun
Your home was bulldozed, razed to the ground

The fields where you played now settlers’ homes

At night you can’t sleep for they brighten the skies

Phosphorus of white, it burns in your eyes

By day you seek food to keep you alive

Guns pointing at you though you’re only aged five

For salvation and hope you look to the west
Not to Uncle Sam, but the ordinary man, woman and child

Who have only one wish, to see your sweet smile

The day will come, the Zionists will burn
They will pay for their crimes
Oh Palestinian child
*****
Dedicated to the Palestinian children who are denied their basic Human Rights
By the occupation of Palestine by the TERRORIST state called Israel.

I m speechless, I m in pain, with every stanza you make me remember that we have not done enough. If a Palestine child cries in Palestine, I take the part of my guilt for not acting sooner. I write with shame every time, but I speak louder in every chance. Thanks Robby for your poem. One day Dear I wish we can meet in that land that we fight so much for, one day, we will meet to remember the old times of pain. Let’s hope we do not run out of words, energy and time to dedicate to Palestine.
Posted by Akashma Web Blogs | September 28, 2011, 8:02 amThank you Akashma, we will meet in a free Palestine, the devil (Zionists) has let his mask slip because his arrogance has got the better of him. There will be a price to pay for the suffering and misery inflicted on the Palestinians. When Zionism is banished back to hell we can help rebuild what was once a haven for tolerance and give the children the future they deserve.
Posted by Robby Martin | October 8, 2011, 10:52 pmThe power that it is almighty and that finally is helping us open our eyes and hearts to their cries will allow this glorious moment when all the humanitarian force that we all are part of, will meet one day, I hope that it’s sooner than the world think, I hope it’s sooner before more pain is inflicted in the heart of the children of Palestine, I hope it’s sooner before hate takes a tool, I hope it’s sooner before more land is destroyed. But It’s better Let’s hope as a human block that we have the will, energy and love to continue our work. Peace To All
